We are currently recruiting for a full time Engagement Manager on a permanent contract based in London.
Working as part of a team, you will deliver engagement and inclusion activity in our London and South area. You will enjoy working with people and having conversations about the heritage of the UK to bring projects to life. The role is varied; we run workshops, host events, meet with a range of groups and provide written feedback on project ideas. We work alongside colleagues in policy and marketing and with stakeholders including local Community and Voluntary Services and Local Authorities.
You will work particularly in three of our Areas of Focus, in Brent, Enfield and Newham, helping communities in these boroughs explore and share their heritage. Your work will stimulate and support the flow of good quality applications for National Lottery Grants for Heritage, which use money raised by National Lottery players to help people across the UK explore, enjoy and protect the heritage they care about.

NHS Covid-19 vaccinator - London Apply for this job
The NHS is looking to recruit Covid-19 vaccination administrators to support the delivery of a future Covid-19 vaccine. We are seeking members of the public, who are not currently working within the NHS. Working alongside existing experienced teams, individuals will be fully trained and supported in administering the vaccination to identified groups within the community. This is a unique role, critical to the fight back against Covid-19 within London and will include administering a future vaccine to key workers, the elderly and vulnerable people. As such applicants will need to have an enhanced DBS check. If you do not have one, we will apply for one on your behalf. No previous healthcare experience is required as full training will be delivered via a combination of remote e-learning and practical face-to-face sessions to ensure you are completely comfortable and capable with regards to the preparation and administration of a future Covid-19 vaccine, as and when it becomes available. However you will need good people skills, confidence and a motivation to support people’s health and care.

Mentoring Co-ordinator (12 hours per week @ £15.59 per hour)
We are looking for a mentoring coordinator to plan, develop and implement a 6 month pilot mentoring programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape an innovative new programme offering support for local young people, whilst enabling local residents to connect with their community. The programme will match young people to local residents for mentoring, and will work in close partnership with Oasis Academy Silvertown. This is a new project, so the successful candidate will need to evaluate existing programmes, network within the community to grow a pool of mentors, set up appropriate systems and oversee training and support for mentors.
The successful applicant will have a friendly and approachable manner, and will be able to grow relationships effectively. You will have experience of coordinating youth programmes, and partnership working. You will also need an ability to work independently and a solid understanding of safeguarding practices. Experience of mentoring programmes, and a good understanding of operations within schools is desirable. If successful, we will use this pilot to secure long term funding for mentoring.
